Over 35 Tournament World Championships.
Over 35 Waterski World Championships

Australia will be sending a team of ONE to the Over 35s IWWF tournament waterski worlds to be held from the 6th to the 12th of September in Milan, Italy. This is the inaugural tournament and Australia’s representation rests of the shoulders of three event skier, Mark Louder. Rose Maczkowiack was a late exclusion from the Australian team due to an injury sustained during training (we wish Rose a speedy recovery). Mark has been training hard at Sydney ski club and Stoney Park although has been finding it difficult due to the lack of three event training sites available during the off season. This Over 35s Worlds will bring a new competitiveness to the older age groups on a national and state level with the goal of having a large representation for Australia at the next Senior Worlds.Team Manager Joshua Louder

Cable Wakeboarders prepare for Worlds in Germany!

The newly aligned AWWF Cable Wakeboard group have just completed their first National championships and selected a 16 strong Team to represent Australia at the World Championships in Brandenburg Germany in mid July. Spokesperson for the new group Lauren Ormsby said the Team was very strong in the junior ranks with a good base in the Senior Divisions and good things are expected. The Team has created a lot of interest in the Cable wakeboard world as the discipline grows in big numbers every year. As with all International Teams funding is the key and the group has now a web page to show your support for the team and hopefully make a donations.

Go to :    http://www.mycause.com.au/AustralianCableWakeboardTeam   to show your support.
