Celebrating success is a hallmark of a successful organisation. A Hall of Fame not only celebrates success, but also acts as a living history, so as people change within the organization, its successes are not lost. A Hall of Fame is a legacy for future generations of water skiers to learn from the past in shaping the sport of tomorrow. The Australian Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation Hall of Fame is proud to honour and recognise the special accomplishments of its athletes and the significant contributions of its builders. There are four categories of induction into the Hall of Fame – Athlete, General, Pioneer and Legend. This prestigious award is bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment and extraordinary service to our sport throughout their lifetime. Recipients have consistently surpassed expectations, dedicating themselves to a passion and perseverance that transcends ordinary human limitations, leaving an indelible mark on the sport’s legacy.
The WAWA Hall of Fame will be a web based identity similar to other organisations in the Sporting Field. It will be a category on the WAWA main website with appropriate links to each category.
