Jodie is one of Australia’s greatest ever overall skiers. During the 90’s she was a true superstar of world water skiing. She has represented Australia at five Open World Championships, won the Moomba Masters, had podium finishes at the US Masters and many major professional events around the world. Jodie is one of only a handful of Australians athletes to ever win all three events in Open Women’s at a National Championships. This has earned her a Gold Oscar. She didn’t do it once, she did it twice!

In 2004, at just 19 years old, Dean achieved significant milestones by winning the Moomba Masters and Asian X Games, catapulting him into the professional wakeboarding scene in the USA. Over the next 15 years, Dean competed globally in prestigious events such as the World Cup, World Series, US Pro Tour, King of Wake Series, and Australian Pro Tour. His remarkable achievements include claiming the title of 2010 World Champion, Australian Pro Tour Champion, and multiple wins in the World Series and World Cup competitions. Dean has also been featured on magazine covers, appeared in films, and launched 10 signature wakeboard models.

Amber has spent 15 years living the endless summer dream competing on the US Tour & World Cup Tour. She has won three World Championships, two US Masters, six US Nationals, six Australian Nationals and six US Professional Tour Stops. She retired in 2018 as the most decorated female wakeboarder of all time.

Bronwyn Wing

Bronwyn was crowned World Ski Race Champion in 1979 and after retiring, moved across to tournament skiing where she founded the Malibu Tournament Water Ski Series. This is the longest running tournament series in Australia today. She won multiple Tournament National Championships in the Over 35 & Over 45 divisions along with breaking many national records.

Joel was a three-time Moomba Masters Overall Champion, an Open World Championship Bronze Medallist in Trick at the 2003 World Championships, an Open World Championship Silver Medallist in Team Overall at the 2003 World Championships, won multiple Open Men’s National titles and is regarded as one of Australia’s finest ever overall skiers.

For over 50 years Russell holds a long term commitment to the promotion and rise of a sport he firstly enjoyed himself; in fact he competed at 3 Moomba Masters from 1965 -1967. Ironically some 26 years later he would be the Moomba Masters Chairman for over 15 years and today be one of the most recognizable personalities and administrators in world water skiing. Today he sits on the executive board of the International Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation as our regions President.

To water skiers in Australia, Keith is one of its great pioneers, trailblazers and entrepreneurs who brought the world’s best down under to his magnificent Surfers Paradise Gardens on the Gold Coast in the 1950’s & 60’s.
Founder of Surfers Paradise Gardens on the Gold Coast, he established Australia’s first ever professional water ski show. Keith was one of Australia’s first manufacturer of waterskis and wetsuits and was a Vice President of the Australian Water Ski Association.

Bruce competed in 7 World Championships from 1988 to 2001, winning bronze medals in both overall and jump in 1989, and gold medals in jump in 1991 and 1995. He is a three times U.S. Masters Jump Champion. He was awarded the IWSF Special Award for Sportsmanship in 1998. Bruce set 3 world jump records, holding the record for a full 2 years from 1995 to 1997. Bruce is a 5 times Overall and 3 times Jump Champion at the Moomba Masters.

Garry was the Australian Overall Barefoot Champion in 1969 and 1970 to 1972. He was the Australian Overall Veteran Champion in 1985. He has been an international coach for countries including U.S.A, Canada, Italy and Sweden. He was the Australian team coach in 1985. Garry was introduced to the Royal family in Sydney in 1970 as part of the ‘Young Sport Program’.

Fran has been a key organizer of the Moomba Masters. She is a Life Member of the AWSA / AWWF and has been Chief Judge of major Ski Race events including 2011 Worlds Queensland. Fran is an IWWF World rated Judge and longest serving Secretary of VWSA 1971 to current.

Norm tried to hold the boat straight with superstar Mark Beretta on the back! He was Official Driver for Victoria 1977 – 1996 and National Chief Driver 1978 – 1996. Norm was Moomba driver for 20 conservative years and Chief Driver Junior Worlds in Melbourne, France, London and Singapore. Norm initiated boat testing in Australia
