As a junior, Ryan was ranked Number 1 in the World for Junior Men’s Tricks in 1993 and 1994, winning the US and Canadian Junior Masters Trick Championships in 1995 and the Junior Moomba Masters Trick and Overall Championship in 1994. He claimed multiple Australian National titles in Trick, Jump, and Overall. In his open career, Ryan earned a Bronze Medal at the 2011 World Championships in Men’s Overall and a Gold Medal at the 2005 World Games in Germany. He has multiple podium finishes in prestigious events like the London Night Jump, British Masters, French Masters, and Moomba Masters. He’s a 10-time Asian Australasian Trick and Overall Champion and a 14-time Australian National Trick and Overall Champion. He has captained the Australian Open Water Ski Team and holds numerous records in Australian and Western Australian Men’s events. He was the first Trick Skier to perform and land 6 flips and a Front to Front Mobius in competition.
