Wally is a four times National Champion and Moomba Masters Overall and Slalom Champion in 1961. He represented Australia at Worlds four times. Wally was instrumental with Col Birmingham in having the slalom course and boat speed altered after the 1965 Worlds at Surfers Paradise (approved IWWF Tech Committee). He was a key player in introducing Show Skiing and Barefooting to Queensland.
