👋 MEET THE TEAM | Carol De La Haye – Marketing Director

This week, we’re introducing Carol De La Haye, WAWA’s Marketing Director, who brings more than 20 years of involvement in waterskiing to the WAWA Board.

Over to Carol…

Hi, I’m Carol!

I’ve been involved in waterskiing for more than 20 years across club, state and national levels, and currently serve as Marketing Director on the WAWA Board.

With a background in marketing, I’ve had the opportunity to work across both industry and not-for-profit organisations, building experience in marketing, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning.

In my role with WAWA, I enjoy bringing that experience together with my long-standing connection to waterskiing, working collaboratively with the Board and our wider community to support the continued growth and success of our sport.

For me, strong communication and collaboration are an important part of moving our sport forward, and I’m proud to contribute to that alongside the many passionate people involved in waterskiing and wakeboarding across Australia.

FATHER'S DAY SPOTLIGHT | DEAN MUNDY 💙

Today, we're celebrating Dean Mundy from Cable Wakeboard and the role he plays in our watersports community.

🌊 What is your favourite event or competition to attend as a family?
“One of our favourites was the World Championships at Camsur Wake Park in the Philippines. The three of us competed together, the kids won the Team Championship and my youngest son finished second individually. Being able to represent Australia and compete alongside my children is something I’ll always treasure.”

💙 What achievement are you most proud of as a father in the sport?
“Seeing my kids compete with the right attitude. Winning is great, but teaching them how to handle both winning and losing, respect their competitors and officials, and develop as good people is much more important.”

💬 What is the greatest gift the sport has given your family?
“Happiness, travel and the opportunity to share so many experiences together. Most importantly, it has given us a lifetime of memories.”

Thank you, Dean Mundy, for everything you do on and off the water. 💙
