FATHER'S DAY SPOTLIGHT | GREG COOPER 💙

Today, we're celebrating Greg Cooper from Tournament and the role he plays in our watersports community.

🌊 What makes spending time on the water with your family so special?
“I’ve been involved in waterskiing for a long time and built the waterski club in Babinda. One of the things I’ve loved most is watching my kids grow up around the sport and develop their own love for waterskiing. The community becomes like an extended family.”

💙 What do you love most about sharing the sport with your children?
“I love competing against my kids! Waterskiing is one of those sports where you can compete against your parents on a fairly level playing field — even the grandparents can get out on the water. I’ve especially loved watching my daughter Georgie excel and, of course, eventually beat her dad!”

💬 What do you hope your children remember about your time on the water?
“I hope they remember how much fun we had — the skiing, the laughs, the friendships and the amazing extended family that comes with the sport. Most of all, I hope they remember the memories we created together.”

Thank you, Greg Cooper, for everything you do on and off the water. 💙

FATHER'S DAY SPOTLIGHT | PETER ROBERTS 💙

Today, we're celebrating Peter Roberts from Barefoot and the role he plays in our watersports community.

🌊 What makes spending time on the water with your family so special?
“Living on a busy dairy and beef farm, it can be hard to switch off because you live where you work. Getting out on the water and travelling to ski events gives us the chance to forget about the farm, enjoy time together and have a holiday as a family.”

💙 What has been your proudest moment as a dad in the sport?
“All four of my kids can barefoot, but watching my eldest become a really clean barefoot waterskier, achieve highly in the world rankings and seeing what he has accomplished has been very special.”

💬 What would you like to say to your children this Father’s Day?
“Thank you for supporting me in my barefooting achievements and travelling around the world with me. We’ve made some great memories that will last forever.”

Thank you, Peter Roberts, for everything you do on and off the water. 💙
