WAWA Hall of Fame Update

The Board of Waterski and Wakeboard Australia wish to announce Grant Barnett is stepping down as head of the working committee for the WAWA Hall of Fame. Grant has worked tirelessly over 12 years and four induction ceremonies, to provide recognition for athletes and officials who have contributed so much to what our sport is today. Alongside Grant, Brett Thurley has produced a comprehensive media library showcasing the achievements of our Hall of Famers and Brett will also be stepping down from his media role.

Sport is a defining part of Australian culture and in honouring athletes and officials, the WAWA Hall of Fame preserves, presents and shares this priceless legacy as an inspiration to all members and newcomers to our sport. A huge thank you and much appreciation is extended to Grant and Brett for their time and efforts in building this legacy for WAWA.
