👋 MEET THE TEAM | Leeza Wray – Chief Executive Officer

This week, we’re introducing WAWA Chief Executive Officer, Leeza Wray, who has been leading the organisation since 2015.

Over to Leeza…

Hi, I’m Leeza!

I’ve been the CEO of Waterski & Wakeboard Australia since 2015, overseeing the day-to-day operations of WAWA and working with our Board, disciplines and wider community to support and grow our sport.

Before joining WAWA, I spent many years in senior management roles across business development, marketing, finance and team leadership. I’ve really enjoyed bringing that experience into a sport and community that I’ve been connected to for much of my life.

My involvement in water sports goes back decades, through both volunteering and being part of the wider community. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see the sport evolve over the years and to play a part in where we’re heading next.

One of the things I enjoy most about my role is working with the passionate people across our disciplines, divisions and clubs, and the volunteers who make our sport possible.

Outside of WAWA, you’ll usually find me enjoying water sports or following motorsport!
